    Theoretical Study of Pressure Induced Shifts of Energy Spectrum of MgO: Cr3+ and MgO: V2+

    • In this paper, based on the previous works, taking into accout the effect of spinorbit interaction, we have calculated the pressure induced shift of the energy spectrum of MgO: Cr3+ and MgO: V2+ quantitahvely. A set of reliable pressure parameters are obtained. The theoretical calculated results are in good agreement with experiments.
