Adsorption Kinetics of Crystal Violet in Silver Colloid and the Influence of Chloride Ions

Abstract
The adsorption of Crystal Violet(CV) in Silver sol is homogeneous, which is indentical with on silver mirrors1. The absorption heterogeneity is not decided by the surface state completely. Chloride ions are helpful to produce SERS active sites on silver surface, and the SERS intensity Of CV enhances 102 times. The Raman section of CV molecule on the active site increases 105 times than on other absorption sites. The calculating results of adsorption kinetics shows all the active site is equal.
