Structural Parameters and Enzyme Model Catalytic Properties

Abstract
The fractal dimensions, topological indices and information parameters of steriod-metalloporphyrins containing Co, Mn, Fe and Zn are calculated, and may be satisfactorily used to explain the catalytic activity sequences: Co(Ⅱ)>Mn(Ⅱ)>Fe(Ⅱ)>Zn(Ⅱ), and the linear reiationship between fractal dimensions and structural information parameters is discovered. In addition, the prediction of reverse phenomena of catalytic activity order has been verified by experiments.
