The Product Formation Rate Constants for Reactions of Metastable CO（a） With CS₂ and CS

In this paper, we used the flowing-afterglow Technique to study the energy transfer and chemical reaction processes of Metastable CO（a） with CS₂ and CS. We measured the product formation rate constants or CS（A） and CS（a） from the reaction or CO（a） with CS₂ and CS. The rate constant or reaction CO（a）+CS₂ measured are 3.46×10^-11cm³∙molec^-1∙sec^-1 and 1.14×10^-10cm³∙molec^-1∙sec^-1 for formation of CS（A） and CS（a） respectively. The rate constants of reaction CO（a）+CS measured are 1.3×10^-11cm³∙molec^-1∙sec^-1 and 1.07×10^-10cm³∙molec^-1∙sec^-1 for formations of CS（A） and CS（a）. Finally, the discussion of the formation mechanism or the excited fragment is presented.
