Abstract
The influence of nonideality on the temporary self-organization behavior of the B-Z reaction system is studied both theoretically and experimentally. The oscillatory period of the B-Z reaction system containing the additive inert electrolyte has been analyzed based on the Oregonator model. By means of the method of small parasitic parameters, it turns outthat the oscillatory period of the nonideal B-Z reaction system is in inverse proportion to the activity coefficient of Ce4+. Moreover, the additive inert electrolyte can further extend the oscillatory period. When a setofobservation experiments has also been performed, the results are in accordance with the theoretical conclusions principally.
