CO Adsorption on an Oxygen Covered Fe(110) Surface
A weakly adsorbed state of CO was found on an oxygen covered Fe(110) surface.This unreported molecularly adsorbed CO was characterized by a C-O stretching vibration of 2120cm-1 ,C1s and O1s binding energies of ~288eV and ~535eV respectively,as well as a desorption temperature of ~345K.
