Probability Law in Atomic Cluster Production and Its Structure Analysis

Abstract
By analysing the mass spectra of binary atomic clusters, it is found that the size distribution of clusters with similar structure and same formation mechanism can be fitted by a lognormal curve. For the ion-type binary atomic clusters, the system of clusters that conforming to same lognormal curve is gotten by added or subtrated one or a few compond unit, and with the cluster size become largor, only those clusters having valences of their compond are left. For the covalence atomic clusters, the system of clusters fitted by one lognormal curve are gotten by varing atom's number of single clement, and which element or how many atoms is varied can be analysed from the statistics distribution. By funder, among ion-type clusters, as well as among covalence clusters, there are some clusters with special structure that can't be fitted by statistics laws, they formate magic numbers of mass spectrometry.
