An Investigation on the Effect of Operating Parameters on the Permeation of Mixed Gases Through Some Membranes

Abstract
Operating parameters for permeation of mixed gases (O2/N2, H2/CO) through silicone-rubber—polysulfone composite membrane and active additives-polysulfone blended membranes were investigated. Operating conditions such as r(pressure ratio between both sides of membrane), θ(ratio between the quantities of permeated gas and feed gas) and influences of feed gas composition on concentration of oxygen and hydrogen in permeate were also studied. Some valuable reference data have been provided for actual application of above two membrames.
