    The High Resolution Photoacoustic Spectrum of Silane v = 6 Overtones

    • The detection sensitivity of the laser photoacoustic spectrometer was greatly improved by using acoustic resonance and optical multipass techniques.The spectrum of silane v =6 overtones was recorded on this apparatus. The resolution of this spectrum was higher than that observed by means of intracavity laser absorption spectrometer, and more new lines were observed. The vibration-rotational energy levels of three upper states in the region of 12050~12190cm-1 have been obtained, the energy level structure and the pertuxbation have been analyzed.
