    Research of Fluorescence Characteristic of Photograghic Gelatin

    • The fluorescence characteristic of photographic gelatin have been researched with fluo-rescence analysis. Beside the 2 well-known fluorecence substance, phenylalanine and tyrosine, an unknown fluorescence impure substance has been found. Its maximum excitation wavelength is 240 nm and fluorescence peak is 395 nm. It have been inferred that this fluorescence substance in gelatin is one of metal porphyrins or other pigment substance.
