    • The SO4·-inducedoxidationofAla-Met andN-Met-Trp dipeptideswere investigatedusing 248nmlaserphotolysis. Thepresenceofthreeelectron-bondintermediatesS∴S+andS∴O are identi-fied, but no observation of S∴N+formed, fromtheir transient absorption spectra. It wassuggested that the formation of the three electron-bonds depended on the structure of peptide molecule.
